A short reflection and prayer for this month
February
“We love Him, because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
February often surrounds us with messages about love - who has it, who wants it, and what it is meant to look like. For some, however, these sentiments can deepen a quiet struggle or feelings of loneliness.
Scripture reminds us of a different truth: we love because God loved us first. His love does not depend on our worthiness, our attractiveness, our qualifiers, or our ability to return it. We are fully known by Him and fully loved, even in the places that we would rather hide.
As Lent approaches, we are gently invited to respond to that love. Not to earn it, but to make room for it. Preparing our hearts is not about striving harder, but about turning again toward the One who has already given Himself for us.
Lord God,
in a world full of connotation,
return our hearts to Your truth.
Remind us that we are known and loved by You,
especially when we feel unseen or alone.
As we move toward the season of Lent,
help us to prepare our hearts -
not out of fear or duty,
but in response to Your love
that is freely given and faithfully kept.

We gather each week to worship, pray and share in Holy Communion. Whether it is your first visit or your faith runs deep, our services are open to all who seek the presence of God.
Sunday School
A place where faith begins to grow. Our Sunday School creates a safe, fun and faith-filled space for children to explore the stories of the bible, learn about Jesus, and grow in God's love.
