A short reflection and prayer for this month
November
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.”
Malachi 3:16
As the year draws to a close, November invites us into a season of remembrance.
We honour the saints who have gone before us, reflecting on their lives and the legacy they left behind. We also remember our loved ones who have passed, holding their memories close and finding comfort in the hope of resurrection. Though we cannot see them, we are joined in spirit with that great multitude in heaven, standing before the throne of God, their lives a chorus of faith and praise.
In this time of reflection, we are also called to prepare. Advent approaches, inviting us to ready our hearts for the coming of Christ. Let this season be one of quiet remembrance, gratitude, and hopeful anticipation.
Heavenly Father,
In this season of remembrance,
we pause to honour those who have gone before us.
Thank you for their lives
and the legacy they leave behind.
Comfort those who mourn,
and fill our hearts with peace.
As we prepare for the coming of Christ,
help us to live with purpose and anticipation.
May our lives reflect Your love and grace.

Sunday School
A place where faith begins to grow. Our Sunday School creates a safe, fun and faith-filled space for children to explore the stories of the bible, learn about Jesus, and grow in God's love.
