A short reflection and prayer for this month
August
“come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”
Matthew 11:28
In the rush and noise of life, Jesus offers a simple invitation: come and rest. Not because you’ve earned it, or figured everything out, but simply because you are loved.
This month, we are reminded that prayer doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be real. Even a sigh or whispered “Help” is enough. If you are praying for strength, for healing or for a moment of peace, God is already listening.
God of peace,
When life feels heavy and uncertain,
be our stillness.
When we struggle to find the words,
hear the cry of our hearts.
Meet us in the quiet places,
And guide us gently with your love.

A place where faith begins to grow. Our Sunday School creates a safe, fun and faith-filled space for children to explore the stories of the bible, learn about Jesus, and grow in God's love.
